Dash & Dot - Coding Robots
A grant has recently been applied for to start a Robotics Club at Hornung Elementary School! After watching the assembly with Brighton High School students, Hornung quickly realized how starting to learn about robotics in the elementary schools would be beneficial and fun! After much research and thought, Mrs. Giannandrea has selected the coding robots called, "Dash and Dot" that are perfect for the elementary age. These robots have been created by a company called, "Wonder Workshop". Kits can be purchased that consists of robots, accessories, lesson plans and curriculum. The robots are coded through Ipad devices, so the devices we have in the media center will be utilized well!
